High maintenance Nice balance on this sword. Very easy to swing one handed, strong edge holding. But the steel is very high maintenance. Oil it often and keep it glistening or else it will rust over and pit.

This was a purchase that i made more than 7 years ago. I am very happy with the sword itself. The blade does require tlc to keep its luster. The sheath is decent, thick leather, boring for this beautiful sword. Sword is solid, nothing loose, blade is straight and balanced. Blade has held up through testing and several competitive battle competitions. Leather sheath has held up, stitching still ok. Blade does not fit snuggly in sheath

I fell in love with the looks of this sword right off the bat and bought one a few years back. It feel great in the hand and looks just as good in person. It is a bit heavy and does begin to rust easily but that can be taken care of with regular maintenance. I recommend this sword if you’re passionate about swords like I am. In my opinion it resembles a Greek Xiphos and is truly a work of art.
