18 Gauge Steel

Never underestimate the importance of good leg protection. And in the Gothic Leg Armour, you'll not only have excellent protection covering the front of your legs, but you'll also have a great looking Gothic armour piece as well. This set of armour consists of a pair of pair of leg protectors similar in style and design to the historical armour called schynbalds, which were steel plates worn on the legs that did not enclose the leg. Each piece of leg armour is made from 18 gauge steel and features an attractive shiny metal finish, as well as a classic gothic style. This leg armour consists of several plates that are fastened together to create a defensive armour for the leg that doesn't reduce mobility. They feature articulated knees with swept protrusions, which are designed to protect the side of the knees, as well as elegant ridging and riveting, in keeping with the classic gothic style of armor. When worn they are designed to cover the upper leg, the knee, and part of the lower leg. Attached to the upper plate is a tie that is designed to be attached to a belt, to help distribute the weight of the armour and keep them suspended properly. The armour also features three leather straps with buckles that wrap around the upper leg, the knee, and the lower leg to keep the armour properly fitted and in place. On its own or paired with other pieces of armour, these leg protectors are effective and striking, making them a great choice for any warrior or knight to wear. But when worn with other Gothic armour styles, this Gothic Leg Armour set is the ideal way to recreate a suit of the gothic plate armour that was popular during the late Middle Ages.
