This Scottish Claymore was hand-forged by Wulflund in the Czech Republic. Built for stage and sport combat; it has thick blunted edges that are 2 mm thick. The blade is of 14260 CSN high carbon steel tempered to 50-52 HRC hardness. The handcrafted pommel and guard are of steel. The handle of the hilt is overlaid with leather for a grip.

Even with a thickened blade this claymore comes in at under 4 lbs – it is a surprisingly agile sword for its length and its long grip gives plenty of leverage for the second hand to maneuver the sword.

Please Note: On this handcrafted sword the grip color and the type of leather grip wrap used on this sword can vary – grip colors can vary from brown to black. There may also be variations in hilt style (including pommel style) or grip length.

Not a Claymore I got this sword about a year back and first thing i remember is that the sword had gone though the paper it was wrapped in and out one of the sides of the box. I blame the postal service but it also wasn’t that good of a packing job. Anyway the sword is a hand and a half at most, the only thing even slightly claymore like is the quillions. Out of the box the blade was bent just under the crossgaurd, which the crossguard doesnt really fit on its a bit to big. The leather handle lasted all of 5 minutes, being glued on, i had to peel it off and sew one on. But you know what, it bends well and can take a hit. Its not to heavy either. The slight bend in the tang, or above, doesnt really make that much of a difference, its more a nuisance than anything else.
