Minotaur Torgamere Statue

No Longer Available

The Minotaur; half man, half beast was a dark shadow on the grandeur of Cretan King Minos and his palace of Knossus. The monster was trapped within a vast labyrinth and its hunger was placated by a annual sacrifice of fourteen of Athens’ finest young men and maidens. The hero Theseus volunteered to end this terrible ritual and ventured into the labyrinth, defeating and beheading the minotaur. A ball of unraveling yarn, gifted to him by the daughters of Minos who had fallen in love for him, led Theseus out of the twisting halls of the labyrinth.

This cast resin statue is finished for a metallic bronze appearance.
