This half-sleeve Haubergeon of chainmail is crafted from butted rings of mild steel which are zinc plated. Zinc plating is low maintenance and does not require a coating of oil or grease to prevent rusting. This makes it ideal for costume armor because it will not discolor or ruin your other clothing and accessories - not to mention avoiding the possibility of getting oil in your hair when donning your mail armor! Please Note: Some of the pictures show this chainmail as part of an ensemble with other accessories for demonstration purposes.
