Chain mail armor was used in many cultures through out history. This riveted aluminum chain mail shirt is made with each link flattened and riveted for durability. Aluminum chain mail is very light and perfect for reenactors who require an authentic look but don't want the authentic weight. The wire is 16 gauge with a 3/8" inner ring diameter in the international pattern of 4 rings through a 5th. Fits up to 54 inch chest. 33 inches long with approx. 18 inch sleeves. Sleeves hang about 3/4 length on average height warriors. Weight approx. 7 lbs.
