The classic side arm of the Swiss Pikeman, The Baselard was used for close quarter fighting when the enemy had gotten past the long pikes. Fast, light, and capable of both good cuts and effective thrusts, this short sword soon saw use throughout much of Europe. Features an unsharpened carbon steel blade and hard wood grip with brass guard and pommel. Includes a black leather scabbard with brass accents and a utility knife and skewer for the various needs of any campaign.
