Braunstone Sword

In Cambridge there is a brass of Sir Thomas Braunstone which depicts this beautiful sword. Its attractive proportions were much in demand at the time. It is a hand-and-a-half weapon, light enough to be swung easily with one hand, but with a grip long enough for two-hand use if you wish to make a strong statement. A beautiful and well-balanced sword. The Braunstone Sword features an unsharpened carbon steel blade. The grip is wood, ribbed and covered with leather, while the pommel is steel. The guard is steel, with down curved tips as on the original. Includes a black leather scabbard with steel tip and throat.
