Landsknecht Battle Sword

The Landsknecht Battle Sword is a good example of the shorter two handed swords wielded by some of the Landsknecht mercenaries and many of their officers, including the great Landsknecht Captain, George Frundsberg, who is known to have carried one on his last campaign (at the tender age of 82). Features an unsharpened carbon steel blade, solid steel cross guard and pommel and a leather wrapped wood grip. Includes a matching leather scabbard with steel tip and throat.
