The Dragon Scimitar is a nice decorative sword with blunt edges and an intricate brass handle. The blade is made of stamped mild steel. Made in Italy.
Belly Dancers - As shipped this sword will balance ''OK'' for dancing purposes. They tend to lean instead of balancing with the edge straight up. The shape of this sword does lend itself to balancing, but it is not actually manufactured to do so. The fact that it is made with a hand guard (that points upwards when balanced) can easily throw it off balance. Because of this we can not guarantee they will balance with the guard up. However, a lot of dancers do use these swords, they simply unscrew the pommel and turn the guard around so it points down when balanced. In this way they will all balance. If you'd like us to do this for you, simply request that we balance it in the special instructions section, and we'll switch it around for you.
