Arms & Armor English Long Sword

These unique swords of the late 15th century can be seen sculpted on many German effigies. This particular sword is based on an example in the Zürich Landesmuseum.
The distinctive hilt of the Arms & Armor English Long Sword consists of a flattened pear shaped pommel and gently arched guard cast in solid steel. The grip is of a hock bottle shape and features a wood core bound with cord to create the pattern and covered in leather. The sharpened blade is made of carbon steel and well tempered.
