The Scramasax, also known as a seax or sax is a Germanic form of single edged knife. The seax was used both as a weapon and a tool. This version is based on a 6th century Anglo-Saxon version and features a 5160 carbon steel blade, sharpened on the curved side, though some seax were sharpened on the straight edge instead. The grip is made of a dark stained hardwood and the full length blade tang is peened over at the end. Includes a leather belt sheath that can be used in the traditional horizontal position or hung vertically.
