| Customer Reviews: I just recieved the paul chen bearded axe and was very happy with the quality the moment i opened the box. I first noticed the shaft, having purchased and seen many battle axes over the yesra i was happy to see it in fact had a real hardwood shaft unlike the poorly stained softwood shafts of others. From that point on i knew i would ahve a truly functional axe. The balance was excellent for an axe this size and the head was sharp and blemish free. I have yet to try to cut anythign with it but dont doubt that it will chop well above my origional expectations. Paul chen makes a very attractive viking style axe, i was soo impressed i called my mother and had her order me a paul chen practical viking sword so thta i could compare his sword quality. |
