The Paul Chen Roman Gladius is based on the Maintz pattern with ''waisted'' blade. The light blade and typical wooden guard and pommel arrangement make for a very quick sword indeed. Features a sharpened high carbon steel blade with segmented bone grip. The included scabbard is brown leather over wood with intricate brass bas-relief accents. Includes an integrated baldric. This sword would make any legionary or centurion proud. Very nice!
