The Hanwei Han Sword is a cavalry pattern from the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD), which reunited China and established boundaries very similar to those existing today.
This exquisite sword features many intricate details in both the sword itself and the beautiful scabbard. The rosewood scabbard features inlaid silver wire in an intricate scroll pattern and gilded mounts in a ''crouching tiger'' motif. The rosewood grip mirrors the scabbard with silver inlay and a gilded steel guard and pommel in an intricate openwork design. The sharpened random pattern K120C Damascus steel blade, with its ridged central fuller and reinforced point is admirably suited for slashing cuts and powerful thrusts from horseback.
