The ''O'' means great and they’re not kidding. With an overall length of 67'' there’s only one way to describe this sword - Huge! Patterned after an original from the 14th Century, when Odachi were still in use on the field of battle, this sword is a must for Japanese sword enthusiasts.
The Hanwei Odachi sword features a sharpened high carbon steel blade, differentially hardened to make for a true functional weapon. The wood grip is covered in genuine rayskin and a black cord wrap. The tsuba is made of blackened iron. Includes a black lacquered saya with blackened iron mounts, and a black cotton sword bag.
