Also known as Bast, Bastet was the Daughter of Ra the sun God, depicted as either a cat, or a woman with the head of a cat. Additionally, Bastet was one of the 'Eyes of Ra', the title of an avenger god who is sent out specifically to lay waste to the enemies of Egypt and her gods. This Egyptian Bastet Statue is cold cast in resin with an antiqued granite finish. A pair will also make a striking set of bookends.
