Commemorating the Japanese daimyo who fought for control of Japan during the Sengoku or 'warring states' period (1467-1615 AD). The first Tokugawa Shogun was Tokugawa Ieyasu who was born in 1542 to Matsudaira Hirotada, a noble in the Mikawa clan. He was a very astute person who spent his life trying to keep one step ahead of the other clans by playing one clan’s politics against the others. Cold cast in resin and hand painted.
