The Barren’s Pack Axe from APOC Survival Tools is a handily-sized camp trail and woodcraft axe with a Viking-style bearded axehead that is large enough to handle bigger tasks, but small enough for more detailed work and nimble enough for self-defense as well! The axe can be wielded single-handedly and the grip allows for it to be easily choked up on for more precise control when needed. The hammer-headed poll opposite the blade doubles as a hammer for driving stakes. The handle is also long enough to accommodate two hands for optimized chopping power. Unlike many axes, this sturdy axe keeps a thin profile for easy carry and packing and keeps its weight just under 2 lbs. With its Molle compatible sheath, the axe is easily carried both on the outside or inside of your trail pack.

So far, almost no complains with this axe.
It comes pretty sharp with a convex edge that is almost mirror polished. The balance is pretty good and it feels solid in the hand.
The hammer portion on the back is pretty narrow and takes practice to use, but works pretty well. My only complaint relates to the sheathe, it requires you to either lift the axe up a bit further than you’d expect if carrying handle down, or position it handle up. Everything functions just fine and the sheathe is an extremely minor complaint.
