Condor takes it design for its El Salvador machete from the tried-and-true everyday machetes used by the countryside agricultural workers of El Salvador who use them daily in the harvest of its famed Bourbon coffee beans, as well as quality sugar and cotton. The design is practical, efficient and well-suited to a tool to be used everyday. The blade of the Condor El Salvador Machete is 1075 high carbon steel which has been treated with an epoxy black powder coating. The grip is tough and long-lasting polypropylene; a brass lined hole in the grip accommodates a lanyard and a cut-out in the blade tip allows for the machete to be easily hung on a tool shed wall.
Included is a sheath of stitched and riveted leather with an integrated belt loop.
