Inspirational swords generally prove to be challenging pieces to work on. Based both on historical and Fantasy concepts, inspirational swords generally encompass pleasing aesthetic designs from both genres. While keeping the beautiful blade pattern of the Moorish swords, Sabers and Scimitar’s in general, this Scimitar embeds not only the destructive strength of which Scimitars are so well know for, but also provides excellent handling characteristics. Wielded with both hands, this Scimitar delivers destructive blows intended to break through the most complex and detailed armor.
The Darksword fantasy Scimitar is hand crafted with a blade of 1060 High Carbon steel, tempered to a Rockwell of 53. The guard and pommel are made of steel, while the grip is wood with a black leather wrap, further overlaid with cross-hatched strips of matching leather. Includes a wood scabbard with black leather wrap and steel accents. A simple sword belt of leather is integrated into the scabbard. It has no buckle, but is affixed by putting the two tails of the belt through two notches and then tying off the belt.
