The Del Tin Late Period Viking Sword is based on an original excavated from a river in southern England dating from 1100-1150. It’s pommel is the distinctive late Viking lobated style, while the downswept guard is more akin to later Medieval period swords. Features a gently tapering blade with narrow fuller. The guard and pommel are solid steel, while the grip is wood wrapped in leather. The unsharpened blade is made of well tempered Chrome-Vanadium steel with a hardness of 50HRC and is peened at the pommel for durability.
