$175.00$234.95

This large and hefty blade is inspired by the machete wielded by Denzel Washingtons character Eli in The Book of Eli. A thick-spined chopper of a blade, it is crafted from 5160 high carbon steel and differentially tempered to optimize the blade. The edge is hard (56-60 HRC) to resist dulling and the body and spine (45-46 HRC and 22-25 HRC) are of a softer steel to give the blade some shock-absorbing properties and to ensure that it is not so hard throughout that it is brittle.

Two halves of carved rosewood have been riveted to the thick tang for a grip.

It comes with a water-buffalo leather sheath with a basic adjustable strap that allows it to be worn on the back.

Satisfied I’m happy with what I got. Considering I got the blimished version of this sword. But I feel that there’s more wrong with it then can be justified as blimished. For starters. The blade close to the hilt looks completely un finished . It’s goimg to need some polishing and maybe some grinding. But on top of that I’m goimg to need a new handle and I have not even used it yet . I’d show pictures but I have someone making a scabbard for it right now. The hole thing feels unfinished. But I have the means to finish it .

Its sharp and is built like a s**t brick house, the sheath that comes with it is of good quality too. but I have one warning when buying this blade. it is heavy as hell, this thing is not meant to be swung around. if a person was to take off a few millimeters of this blade it will be more manageable. so if you are to buy this blade, sand off a few mm off it or you better have one hell of an arm. all and all well made even though its heavy.
