This Medieval Arming Sword has a thick and blunt-edged high carbon steel blade which is built for the rigors of stage and sport combat. The tip is rounded and the blade is at least 2 mm thick on the edges throughout.
The crossguard and pommel are fashioned from steel and the wooden grip is tightly bound in leather cord. A robust peen over the pommel gives the hilt a durable construction. The sword is paired with a wood-core scabbard which is fitted over with a tight leather binding. Its height and angle by which it is slung from a belt can be adjusted with its pair of antiqued brass buckles.
