This late Medieval dagger has an unsharpened blade with a rounded and thickened tip for sport and stage combat use; the blade is durably anchored into the pommel with a robust peen. EN45 high carbon steel was used to forge the blade and the crossguard and the pommel are also of steel. The grip is wood which is overlaid in a spiralled leather wrap and completed with twisted wire. Included is a wood-core scabbard which is tightly fitted over in leather and topped with a steel chape.
