This longsword is crafted in the USA by swordsmith Stephan Lockwood; the 6150 high carbon steel blade is both sharpened and well-tempered. The crossguard and flared pommel are of satin-finished mild steel and the hilt is finished with a grip of carved poplar wood that was wrapped in cord and overlaid with a skin of oxblood dyed leather.
The companion scabbard to this sword has a core of carved wood with a skin of form-fitting leather. The chape is steel and the scabbard is finished with three metal hanging buckles integrated onto the scabbard with tightly knotted bands of leather. A sword belt of matching sturdy leather is included, as well as a sword hanger that can be knotted onto the belt and then buckled onto the scabbard onto any two of the three scabbard buckles of your choice.
