This Musha Katana is emblazoned on the saya scabbard with the crest of Oda Nobunaga, the powerful daimyo who is regarded as one of the great unifiers of Japan in the Sengoku Era for his overthrow of the Ashikaga Shogunate. Through clever and innovative military tactics, relentless warfare and economic reform Oda Nobunaga brought much of Japan under his rule.

The blade of this katana is forged from 1045 high carbon steel which is both tempered and sharpened. The blade is matched with a hilt that has tsuba, fuchi and kashira hilt components which are crafted from metal with an antiqued finish. The tsuka grip is fashioned from wood and inlaid with panels of faux rayskin before being bound over in black ito cord to complete the sword. The matched saya scabbard is carved from wood with a blackened finish and completed with a collar of antiqued metal and a black sageo cord. On one side the Oda Clan Mon emblem is laser-etched into the wooden scabbard in fine detail.

As a starter sword, I am impressed at the outcome, very easy to carry and great attention to detail. Would recommend this one if you are on a budget or would like to test out the sword for other future purchases.

I have a decent amount to say for this sword.
In terms of looks ill give it a 9/10 because the attention to detail makes the sword almost damn near immaculate.
As for the handle and the wrapping on it already starting coming off near the tsuba started coming loose.
Now in terms of sharpness is just wow, The blade came in barely cutting paper in terms of sharpness and then I took it to a pool noodle and barely cut it along with taking it to the milk jug barely cutting it then to the tatami mat felt like I was using an Iato
If you plan on buying this I recommend getting a 1000 and 3000 whetstone because your going to need to sharpen it

For the price this sword was a great buy, the only problems that I could see was that the blade was a bit bowed near the end and it has a tendency to get stuck in the scabbard. But besides that, it’s a great buy.
