This heirloom quality Crusader’s Sword is a well balanced and striking example of beauty in design! A very swift and well constructed blade is hand forged from high carbon steel and tempered over hot coals, as was done back in the middle ages. The stylish guard is made of hand-cast solid brass as is the beautiful octagon pommel depicting the Crusaders Cross. The grip is made of polished ebony. Black leather over wood sheath included. From Ritter Steel.

Epic! An absolutely beautiful piece to start off my collection. The blade is solid and the grip is gorgeous. Could not be happier!

I like it This is the first sword I’ve ever bought, so don’t take my words like Im an expert. I also haven’t used it for cutting test or anything, so it’s just a review on look and a bit of basic handling.

    – First of all, the edge is not sharp. I have no problem sliding my hand over the cutting edge of the blade
    – The blade is a bit shorter than expected. I thought it was a longsword, but the blade falls a bit shorter than that (my own fault for not checking the specs good enough). The weight however remains the same as a longsword. I don’t really mind it at all, but there might be some people who do so I wanted to mention it.
    – The scabbard is a really good fit and if you move it while the sword is inside, it doesn’t move inside the scabbard. However, when I sometimes put the sword in the scabbard, it doesn’t go fully down (I think I cut into the scabbard, but since its my first sword so I have no idea if this is a common issue) so I have to try it a few times till it fits how it’s suppose to.
    – I presume that this is sword is to be used with two hands since it seems a bit heavy for a one hander. So for me the handle is a bit too small. I don’t really have that large hands, so this is also something to take into consideration.

Now you might wonder why I give it 4 stars while mostly saying negative stuff. Well the first and foremost reason I bought the sword is because of its looks. Its not possible for me to train HEMA or anything like that so I wanted a sword that could later on function as a sword I could truly use. But since I can’t right now, I wanted something that also looked good. And boy, it really does. The pommel, handle and crossguard look fantastic. The sword itself also looks very good and looks very well made.
So that’s why I give it 4 stars. I primarily bought it for its nice design and looks so that influenced my rating the most. So the other things I mentioned don’t bother me that much, but others might find it important so that’s why I included it.

So thats all I got to say. I hope this review will at least be useful and if not, well so be it ;).
