This elaborately faceted mace head is based on originals dated to the 12th – 14th century and would have been wielded by Byzantine, Rus and Scandinavian medieval warriors alike. The head of cast brass is cleverly designed to land concentrated crushing force upon a target from nearly any angle of strike. It is ready to be mounted to your own wooden haft to fashion your own mace. The diameter of the socket is approximately 25 mm
