The Del Tin Hand and a Half Sword is based on a 14th Century example, and features a long flattened diamond cross section blade with long ricasso. The blade tapers to a thrusting point and features a short fuller for part of it’s length. The guard and pommel are solid steel while the tapered grip is wood wrapped in black leather. The unsharpened blade is made of well tempered Chrome-Vanadium steel with a hardness of 50HRC and is peened to the pommel for durability.

Very good Good: handles very well, light and well balanced. All hilt fittings were tight. sharpening service from KoA is very good, minimal disturbance to blade profile (as requested), very neat secondary bevels, and was paper cutting sharp.

Bad (all minor issues IMO): leather grip was scuffed up with some scratches. A tiny amount of wood of the grip can be seen just under the crossguard on my sword due to imperfect grip wrapping. Several of the fullers are of uneven length (about 1cm length variance at most)

Overall: highly recommended if you value performance over minor aesthetic issues
