Additional information
Based on the 14th century example, the Del Tin Medieval Hand and a Half Sword features a long tapering blade with 2/3 length fuller. The guard and pommel are solid steel while the grip is wood wrapped in black leather. The unsharpened blade is made of well tempered Chrome-Vanadium steel with a hardness of 50HRC and is peened to the pommel for durability.

Very good I ordered this sword with sharpening from KoA, and the sword came with a neatly done secondary bevel, which was paper cutting sharp. Very nice. Perhaps a little bit too much steel removed in the process, but still acceptable.
The sword itself is rather hefty, and has a high POB, which pretty much makes it a 2 handed sword, rather than hand-and-a-half as per the name. The grip is also rather short, which exacerbates the issue. I suppose these are not problems if you are of a strong build. I noted that the blade sags a bit when the flat is held parallel to the ground (2-3 cm off centre), perhaps due to insufficient distal taper. I hear that this is common with large swords such as this one.
Quality and workmanship seem very good, except that the fit of the wood grip to the tang is not as tight as it should be, resulting in a clicking sound when the sword is handled at speed. Liberal amounts of epoxy poured down the fuller fixed this. All other hilt components were tight and of good quality.
All in all a rather good sword!
