The Hanzo Steel Ninja Assassin Ninja-to has a sharpened blade of 1060 high carbon steel with a blackened titanium coating well-suited for nighttime operations. The blade was differentially-hardened to give it a hardened crystalline-steel edge, a shock absorbing spine, and a real wave-like hamon line.

The tsuba is iron and the habaki and seppa are blackened brass. The fuchi and kashira fittings are black metal. The long grip is formed from carved wood with panels of inset rayskin. The grip was wrapped with black cotton ito and a pair of blackened menuki lie beneath the folds of the ito.

The saya scabbard is formed from carved wood and given a stitched skin of black leather and metal hanging rings integrated onto the scabbard on riveted bands of faux leather. An adjustable backstrap is included for wearing this ninja-to on the back.

This Ninja-to has a shortened blade to make it easier and quicker to draw, as well as making the handling of the sword easier in tight, indoor spaces that would hinder a longer sword. The grip is extra long to give the user increased striking leverage.
