Honshu’s Egyptian Khopesh sword strikes a compromise between a sword and an axe, bringing the cutting and slashing power of the Khopesh with the power and leverage afforded by an axe. The sharp blade is crafted from stainless steel. The handle is crafted from tough injection molded nylon which is durable and impact resistant. The blade is securely mounted into the handle with three threaded pins and the Khopesh comes with a blade sheath of stitched, thick faux leather with buttoned retaining straps.

This is a beastly cutter and it’s a helluva lotta fun to use! It came very sharp and I haven’t needed to sharpen it yet. I’ve cut through bottles, milk jugs, 2 1/2 gallon oil jugs, pumpkins and stuck it into wooden dolly blocks with little to no damage to the edge. The sheath seems to be good quality as well. One of my favorite purchases from KOA.
