The Irish Two-Handed Longsword is balanced for authoritative cutting and has a blade forged from well-tempered 1075 high carbon steel which was tempered to a 48-52 HRc. The sharp blade is over 36″ in length and has a weight-reducing fuller groove. The guard and pommel are crafted from stainless steel and the wooden grip is overlaid in tightly stitched leather. Included with the sword is a wood-core scabbard which is tightly wrapped in stitched leather.

Very nice sword. Well balanced, and seems sturdy. Complaint , the taper takes it down very small towards the the point.. seems very small compared to pic, and measurements are off. Makes it look and feel flimsy. Also point is not as sharp. (I am probably spoiled because I ALWAYS, purchase K.O.A sharpening service, Have for years. (Highly recommend!) but it was not available on this purchase (sadly as after receiving). But K.O.A, always recommend, great shipping as well. Kind Regards-Jen
