Sugarloaf Helm - Epic Dark Finish - 19 Gauge Steel
Epic Armourys Sugarloaf Helm is a head-encompassing Great Helm which is constructed from 19 gauge steel with a blackened finish. The interior of the helmet is fitted with an integrated leather suspension liner which can be adjusted to tailor the fit of the helm on the head. An internal chin strap of thick leather coupled with an adjustable chin strap keeps the helm firmly fitted and properly oriented.
Included with the helmet is are strips of foam which give the wearer the option to insert them behind the internal leather liner to give it hidden padded protection.

Great Helm! (pun intended) I didn’t buy this here, but I do own this helm. I love it! Vision and breathing are excellent, and the weight is easy to manage. It’s very comfortable when the padding is adjusted to your liking. It’s large enough that you can easily wear a padded coif and a mail coif under it. I can even wear glasses with it on! :) On mine, I took a scuff pad to it and removed some of the darkening….looks like it should be in a museum case. Very, very nice helm for the money!
