Tod Cutler – Rude Bollock Dagger 14th Century and 15th Century

This Bollock Dagger from Tod Cutler has been dubbed the very Rude Bollock Dagger – for obvious reasons! Medieval humor could be rather on-the-nose in many cases and this dagger from Tod Cutler is a historically inspired recreation of one of the more unique bollock daggers designs that were widespread across Europe from the 13th through the 16th centuries. Known for their distinctive grip shape and straightforward effectiveness, these daggers were worn by soldiers, craftsmen, travelers, and townsfolk alike. This particular example embraces the humor and earthy character sometimes found in medieval objects, giving the piece a bold personality while remaining grounded in historical realities.
