This exquisitely crafted dagger is a faithful reproduction of 15th century English originals from the Royal Armouries and embodies Tod Cutler’s commitment to meticulous research and historical accuracy in ensuring every detail is authentic. This makes it an exceptional choice for reenactors and discerning collectors alike. Like the originals, the blade is forged from tempered EN45 high carbon steel, featuring a distinctive hammer head pommel and quillons crafted from solid steel which paired with a carved wooden grip wrapped in leather. The full-length tang is securely peened over a brass peen washer on the pommel.

With a blade length of over 11 inches, this dagger is perfectly suited for self-defense, combat, or utility tasks, serving as a versatile sidearm for knights, men-at-arms, or soldiers during the War of the Roses or similar periods. Its robust spine ensures rigidity and durability, tapering to a double-edged blade with a sharp, piercing tip. The 4-inch hilt provides a comfortable and secure grip. The dagger comes with a high-quality, double-layer vegetable-tanned leather sheath, featuring stitched construction, incised decoration, and a brass chape. It is ready to be fastened to your belt.
