The László Hungarian Saber is a finely crafted saber from VB Swordshop of Hungary, designed for sport and stage combat and historical reenactment. Built with a focus on durability and agility, it combines a high-quality spring steel blade with a reinforced hilt ensuring the sword is capable of enduring vigorous blade on blade contact while remaining faithful to Hungarian saber traditions.

Measuring 28 3/4 inches in blade length with an overall length of 34 9/16 inches, the high-carbon spring steel blade is blunted for safety and optimized for thrusting and slashing and is tempered for durability. Both the crossguard and pommel are crafted from steel, and the blade is securely mounted with a wide peen over the pommel. Additional reinforcement ensures the tang is solidly welded to the hilt furniture to create a dependable and sturdy construction at all critical points.

The beechwood grip is wrapped in leather, providing a secure and comfortable one-handed hold. Despite its robust design, the saber remains light and nimble in the hand, weighing 1 lb 15.5 oz with a point of balance approximately 8 1/8 inches from the guard. The László Hungarian Saber is a precise, agile, and historically inspired choice, perfect for sport fighting practitioners, reenactors, and anyone seeking a sport-ready Hungarian sabre.
