With its scything blade and robust construction, the Zombie-Go-Boom Executioner 2.0 is all business when it comes to making ribbons and chunks out of the zombies, martians and leering pumpkins that afflict your homestead. With this Survival Sword in hand their plague-addled presence will be guaranteed to be satisfyingly short in duration when the Executioner arrives on the scene.

Brought to you by the team at Zombie Go Boom and Condor Tool & Knife, the Executioner 2.0 is purpose-designed for a spree of Zombie Slaying mayhem. The blade is 1075 high carbon steel that has been sharpened to a keen and durable convex-grind edge. The The blade is finished with a distressed, battle-worn appearance that looks right at home in the bowels of the Apocalypse. The wide blade with its tapered cutting edge and forward-sloping tip is ideal for strong chops and shearing slashes; its thickened spine and widened blade ensure that it can hack through zombie flesh and bone with near artistic destruction when in capable hands.

The hilt of the Executioner is durably built; the thick full-tang is formed from the same, single piece of steel that comprises the blade. Two halves of quad-riveted, tough micarta create a durable construction that is ready for whatever The End Times may dare. A pre-drilled hole will accommodate a lanyard or wrist strap (not included).

A tactical sheath of tough tight-weave nylon with a buttoned, blade-retaining tab, velcro grip strap and hanging belt loop complete this essential piece of Zombie Slaying kit.

As a bonus, the first 500 orders will receive an autographed postcard signed by Chuck and Charles!

Wow! Better than expected!! I love this sword! I’ve only had this sword for two days, but I’ve managed to do a lot of cutting because it really cuts amazingly well. The boys at zombie go boom really did a good job designing this blade. The video clip kult of Athena put in the description pretty much says it all. The one thing I would like to point out is the handling. The micarta handle is really really comfortable. The weight and balance is perfect, but the grip has got to be the most comfortable handle I’ve ever felt in sword or machete. Once you get this in your hands, you won’t want to put it down. It really does cut better than swords of a much higher price range. This sword was actually a second choice. I originally was going to purchase something else on Kult of Athena, but it was out of stock. I’m glad it was because this blade has really impressed me. You have to get in your hands to really appreciate it. I like this sword so much that I’m seriously thinking about buying another one to practice dual wielding. I also should mention that the Point is wicked sharp. It comes to a fine needle point. It is definitely a piercing weapon and not just a chopper.

All in all, a good sword/machete for cutting, fun design This is not an actual sword. It lacks the blade geometry of a sword and has no hilt. It is not designed to fight other people with swords. It’s more properly a very cool machete. That being said, it’s very well designed for cutting things. I would imagine it would be ideal for Zombie eradication and dismemberment. Also very good for backyard cutting and tameshigiri, and just having fun with a badass-looking weapon.

The handle deserves special mention, because it is an excellent design for either one or two handed use, very comfortable and does not slip even a little. It feels exactly like a somewhat porous wood, even though it’s a high-tech plastic.

The blade is very thin, but a hard enough steel that it retains much of its rigidity. The edge looks rough in the pictures, but it’s a satiny, fine sandblast finish, and is very smooth. This is a convex edge! It is very different from most “V” type edges! It passes through a watermelon like it’s not even there. It’s an edge ideal for cutting and yes, I would imagine, dismembering. It comes quite sharp, and I managed to get it even a bot more so with a simple flat stone and oil.

The blade is also very flat except near the edge, again more of a machete design than a sword, but if you consider it a “supermachete” that is even better at cutting than regular machetes and most swords, it’s well worth the money.

The Executioner surprised the hell out of me. I wasn’t expecting much out of it, both because of the low price point and my inherent bias against the apocalyptic styling. I bought it for my wife, as I want to get her into the hobby and she seems to like the aesthetic. When I tested it out, I was blown away by how well it cuts. It produces extremely clean cuts every time, and is fun to use.

Great blade! Performs exactly as advertised! It slices, it dices and smashes zombie skulls!

This sword is no “gimmick”. It’s an actual sword that can slice, dice and stab pretty proficiently! VERY well built and sturdy. If I was a zombie, I would RUN at the sight if this weapon coming at me!!!
