This weighted Greek butt cap for a spear is crafted from solid brass. It has the weight needed to counterbalance the spearhead and though the spear-shaped cap is blunted, it can be used as a deadly weapon in a pinch by a skilled warrior.
A socketed piece to be fitted to a tapered spear haft, the diameter of the circumference is approximately 1 1/16 (2.69 cm).
