Scorpion - God of War - Leviathan Axe
This burly war axe takes its inspiration from the axe used by Kratos in the game God of War and it is fully functional. The axe has a well-tempered axehead of 1095 high carbon steel and is particularly robust and durable because of its "full tang" construction due to its haft being crafted from a solid piece of thick steel with two halves of tough walnut wood riveted to this thick tang to create a composite handle with a steel-reinforced spine. Included are two sheaths of thick, riveted leather for the axe blades.
This two handed war axe is the signature weapon for Kratos in the game God of War. Used for slicing and dicing through hordes of enemies.

Got this a little while ago, just now making a review. Far exceeded my expectations. Wonderfully crafted and as strong as you could get. Took a while to get delivered but well worth the wait. It’s a monster of an axe, 5/5 for sure.
Well made piece, well worth the wait. Blades are nice and sharp and the curve of the handle really helps with chopping force. One of my most prized in my collection, strong and vicious and makes a good impression when you show people

Just received my Scorpion God of War Leviathan axe. KoA customer support was fantastic and they had the item on sale for $303 so i had to jump on it.
Its heavy, crude and over-built. And all those things are the reason i went with Scorpion over a $400 Etsy version of this axe “hand-forged” with the runes and decorations. I wanted something functional and solid that would give me the confidence that i could fell an Oak or bash in a car and it wouldnt break. And of course this axe delivers in spades. Ive chopped some fire wood with it and thats all i really plan to do for now. Its definitely a discussion piece as well. Everyone loves it.
If you value function over form (except this axe design is still unique bc its based off a fantasy game), and want something heavy duty, this is it.
It’s a great weapon, but the experience hasn’t been perfect. I wasn’t particularly happy with the rough ground edge that came with mine — initial sharpness was a problem. That said, it was relatively easy to fix on my Ken Onion — took about an hour, but now it’s got a proper edge that’s sharp enough to split hairs. This thing is beefy, overbuilt, and overall incredibly solid — I especially like the steel tang that runs all the way through the handle from the blade. My only other criticism is that the edge protective covers don’t easily stay on without rubber bands or something else to help keep them there, and if you’re gonna keep this thing sharp you really do need those covers…
