Padded Chainmail Mitten Gauntlets - Alternating Dome Riveted Mild Steel Flat Rings - Lord of Battles
Please Note: It is common for these mail gauntlets to have some rust present which may need to be buffed, polished and cleaned.
These chainmail mitten gauntlets is made from mail rings which are stitched onto a padded gambeson gauntlet to give its wearer protection from cuts and concussive impact alike. The mild steel rings are 17 gauge in thickness and have an internal diameter of 9mm. Half of the flat rings are riveted and these alternate with solid flat rings. The arming mitten itself is of thick, quilted cotton which is padded on the inside with organic cotton. The underside of the hands is lined with quality, supple leather for ease of movement and grip.
