Spanish Morion with Leather Cheekplates - Deepeeka
This Combed Morion Helm of 18 gauge steel is fitted with thick leather cheekplates; these segmented leather plates are sturdily riveted together and are integrated with a chinstrap which can be adjusted to size with an antiqued brass buckle. The base of the helmet dome is embellished with riveted brass medallions.
The interior of the helmet has an internal suspension liner which can be adjusted to fit with a leather drawstring.

The package got loss for few days .UPS delivered the helmet to other house and the owners of that house delivered to me.Honesty is still in place.The helmet is super and I recommended to any person interested in items related to the Conquistadores and the Spanish Empire.Thanks Sam.
I wanted an open faced helm that would be comfortable to wear for long periods. This is just the thing! Feels solid. It fits my head perfectly (for reference I’m 6’3” and have a medium-large head). To be fair I haven’t actually worn it to an event yet, but it definitely beats wearing a closed face helm when it comes to being practical. Pairs nicely with a pole arm or rapier.
I just received this helmet today (10 Feb 26) and I’m quite happy with it. It actually had a liner in it, and fit my head comfortably. This helmet is solid and visually appealing. I have handled an original before, and it compares well.
It is very impressive helmet, looks very fancy and feels heavy (about 2 kg). Fit my head very well and I feel very comfortable wearing it, despite its wheight. Good quality for the price. I recommend this helmet for collectors who interested in 15th century armor.
