Enclosed Arm Protection
The Enclosed Arm Protection is definitely a step up from regular arm bracers. If you need inner and outer forearm and elbow protection then this is your perfect match. Made from 18 gauge steel and accented with domed rivets. The simple style allows this armour to be paired with other styles of armour and still match well. The arm piece attaches to your arm like a normal arm bracer would, with two leather straps, then you close the articulated steel guard and wrap the outer leather strap around the armour and buckle it. The two inner straps will be hidden once the armour is closed. This armour provides great protect for the forearms and elbows. Look for the matching leg armour.
Sizing:
Length: Inner Forearm is 7 Inches, Outer Forearm is 9.25 Inches
Circumference: The smallest forearm this armour will fit is 12 inches. The armour will go up to any size arm, there will just be a small gap where the plates close. *Keep in mind, if you are wearing a thick gambeson, this will add to your actual arm measurement, measure with your gambeson on.*
Elbow Coverage: 6.5 inches wide by 5 inches high .

I bought the enclosed arm protection. Very simple and very sturdy armor piece. Fit beautifully. Only protects the outside elbow edge and the full forearm..The inside edge is not protected. It came with a layer of protective oil. After wiping down it showed signs of mild surface rusting from my fingers. Maybe a regional thing. Currently on a tropical island. Definitely would recommend.
