Deadly on every level Buy this at your peril – it personifies the term “Going Medieval.” Tipping the scales at 5 lbs., this is a lethal pole arm which demands respect. This mace bristles with 2-inch + spikes protruding menacingly from a solid, baseball-sized chunk of iron, securely attached to a 20-inch metal shaft which terminates in a strong, wood-covered handle. It is very well constructed, and could well be used in combat if one were actually strong enough to wield it. Roughly hewn, as it should be, this is a sword-breaking, shield-shattering, bone-crushing tool of destruction, and could be just as lethal to a careless handler as it is to an opponent. You have been warned.

Release the beast This thing is terrifyingly brutal. Two hands are definitely needed to use properly, however I don’t really feel safe swinging this around without wearing armor.
One wrong move and you or someone else is taking a trip to the hospital. This makes a good home defense weapon, though it would get pretty messy.
If you had to fight two opponents with this…you’re pretty much guaranteed to lose because the second guy would kill you while you’re trying to pry this out of the first guy’s head.
In all seriousness though this is a pretty awesome weapon. My only real complaints are the spikes bend a bit too easily, and it could stand to lose some weight.
I wouldn’t dare buy the flail version of this, you’d probably die taking it out of the box.

I just received mine today and I’m already in love with it, I’ve always been a mace enthusiast and this one is definitely more menacing and heavy than the others I own. I heard the spikes are a bit fragile but that’s okay with me as I hope I would never have to use this on a home invader anyway. Also if the spikes did manage to break off this thing would still be deadly with how much power it has. In short it’s definitely not elegant and not for the faint of heart but if you want to have a brutal weapon in your home this mace is definitely where to go.

This is the real deal. You’re getting what you see in the pictures: a crude and terrifyingly dangerous mace. The welds are terrible, the thing is coated in oil, and it is unwieldy. If you are strong you can swing it with one hand, however swinging this thing is a serious danger in itself. I’m not being dramatic when I say this thing is extremely dangerous, even to hold. If you drop it wrong, a tooth WILL go through your foot. If you are holding it above your head and it slips out of your hand, it WILL go through your skull and kill you. If you leave it lying around and fall on it, you WILL need an ambulance. Carrying it around and bumping into someone (there is no good way to carry it, btw) could impale them. There is no practical use to this mace outside of causing massive injury, and your stupidity will determine who will be the victim. I would never ever allow this mace into an event of any kind. That all being said, it feels and looks great. It brings a sense of fear to everyone who lays eyes on it, for good reason. There is no real reason to own it, and that’s why you should get it.

Super low quality piece, received today, already bend from hitting soft wood, shaft and some spikes, honestly I don’t know what the other people got but this isnt something you can use on anything without it being damaged in some form, it is however going to cause serious injury, it is a piece of metal after all, just low quality.
I will however replace the shaft, fill the hollow ball with concrete, and reinforce the spikes to make it usable, which is a very simple job and will make it a lovely tool of mass destruction.
