Steel Armor Buckle with Chape - Antiqued Finish - Lord of Battles
This buckle is made from steel and is darkened for an antiqued finish. Small and strongly built, a buckle such as this is an ideal fastener for customizing pieces of armor, although it can also be used for a myriad of purposes. A pre-drilled hole allows for it to be riveted onto a (19.5 mm) wide strap of leather.

The steel buckle fits perfectly with 3/4″ leather straps nicely for armour. It fits 1/8″-5/32″ diameter rivets, but it’s easy to file/drill up to 3/16″. These are designed so that you can ‘sandwich’ the leather between both sides of metal chape.
