Age of Craft – HMB Shoulder Armor – European XVth Century Pauldrons – 18-19 Gauge Tempered Spring Steel

These excellently articulated plate pauldrons are constructed from resilient and highly protective 18-19 gauge tempered spring steel and are designed specifically for the hard-hitting sport combat of HMB (Historical Medieval Battles). The design is simple and utilitarian but quite protective and the design of the pauldrons give plenty of options for attaching them to the rest of your armored harness and for attaching additional armor.

The interior of the armor is blackened and it has riveted leather banding on the inside to provide free-flowing articulated movement. A leather tab with a pair of holes allow for the pauldrons to be attached and anchored directly to your arming garment, gorget or torso armor as befits your situation. A sturdy steel buckle and adjustable leather strap at their bottom affixes the armor to your arm to ensure proper synchronized movement with the arms. Pre-drilled holes on the large central shoulder plate on both sides allow for armor rondels to be laced onto the armor for additional protection (sold separately) Lacing cords for attaching these shoulders to your gear are not included.
