Valiant Armoury Craftsman Series - Short Leaf Blade Sword with Scabbard - Blue
This Leaf Bladed Short Sword by Valiant Armoury comes from their premium quality Craftsman Series line and was made entirely in the USA by Zach and Sonny Suttles. The sword is wonderfully nimble and a solid cutter - careful attention to distal taper and mass distribution in the crafting of the blade ensures that it does not feel tip heavy and inelegant in the hand. This has also thinned out the elongated, main striking portion of the blade which ensures that its form not only bites into and separates its target, but also passes through its with minimized drag.
The blade is permanently mounted into the hilt with a hot-peened assembly. Its crossguard and hilt are fashioned from steel and the finely formed wooden grip is excellently wrapped in tight blue leather.
The companion scabbard is masterfully crafted from wood which is bound in blue hued leather and fitted with a stainless steel protective chape. Woven through the scabbard are hangers of brown leather which connect the hanger bands on the sword belt, allowing for the sword to be slung vertically at the waist from the included sword belt. The sword belt itself is thick and of high quality and it can be adjusted to fit with an antiqued metal buckle with a steel buckle tongue.
