The scabbard is purpose built to match and fit United Cutlery’s reproduction of Anduril from Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings. Easily one of the most iconic swords in film history, Anduril as seen in the Lord of the Rings was a mastercrafted sword of Kingly proportions and popular demand for a fine scabbard to match the United Cutlery replicas has been answered here with this offering. Made from high quality materials and components, the scabbard has a wooden core which is wrapped in fine genuine leather and embellished with solid antiqued metal chape, locket and buckles. Its inscription plate is accented with a base which is plated in 24K gold. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Andúril, meaning “Flame of the West”, is inscribed on its nameplate in the language of Quenya and written in the runes of Eregion and bordered by the symbols of the sun and moon. King Elessar fastened his sword scabbard to his horse saddle so he could quickly draw the sword out for battle.
This scabbard is designed to fit the Anduril Sword UC1380AS, as well as (UC1380ASNB), the Limited Edition Anduril Sword (UC1380ASLB), and the Narsil Sword (UC1267). Each sword is sold separately from this scabbard.
