Evoking the unadorned lines favored by the monastic warrior-monks of medieval Christendom, this sword bears the classic cruciform hilt that came to symbolize both knightly duty and sacred purpose. As knighthood evolved from feudal warrior class to armed guardians of the Church, the simple cross-hilted sword became more than a practical weapon — it served as a constant reminder of the vows, obligations, and faith carried into the field.
